General Information
Mount Trusmadi is located about 70 kilometres southeast of Kota Kinabalu City; its forest reserve covers an area of 184,527 hectares bordering four districts – Ranau up north, Tambunan on the west, Keningau down south and Sook in the east.
Mount Trusmadi or Trus Madi also is second highest mountain in Borneo and Malaysia at 2,642 metres. It lies in the state of Sabah, close to Mount Kinabalu, on the island of Borneo. The mountain supports a wide range of unique flora and fauna, including Nepenthes macrophylla, a species of pitcher plant.
