Standing majestically at 4,095m (13,435 feet above sea level), Mount Kinabalu is the highest mountain between the Himalayas and New Guinea. Mount Kinabalu derives its name from the Kadazan word, ‘Aki Nabalu’, meaning ‘the revered place of the dead’. It is one of the safest and most conquerable peaks in the world—provided that you’re reasonably healthy and physically fit.

Kinabalu Mountain Climbing Day 1.
You will be met at the airport or Hotel and travel overland to Kinabalu National Park, the journey will take approximately 2 hours passing through a beautiful valley overlooking the mountain. Along the way, we will stop at Nabalu market famous for the mountain view and souvenir shopping. Thereafter, you transfer to your accommodation, located at Kundasang, at the foothill of Mount Kinabalu.
Rest of the day, you may visit (on your own) to the War Memorial, the Fruit Market, the Vegetable Market or simply relax with the cold breeze blowing. In the evening, you will be brief by our specialist for your mountain climb preparation (recommended for the first attempted).

Kinabalu Mountain Climbing Day 2
After Breakfast, by 0800 hours you transfer to the Park headquarters for your climbing registration and then once all documentation is done, you will be introduced to your mountain guide and you transfer to Timpohon Gate, the starting point of your climb. Average of 4 to 5 hours of trekking until you reach the base camp where you’ll be spending your night in a basic mountain hut. Dinner will start at 1700 hours and your mountain guide will brief you for your Summit climb preparation.

Kinabalu Mountain Climbing Day 3
Early morning, ascending to the summit and normally start at 0245 hours, Its will take an average of 3 hours trekking just in time for the sunrise. If the weather permits, you will be looking magnificent scenery of “Land Below The Wind”.
Descend back to the base camp for your deserved breakfast and continue descending to Timpohon Gate where you be met and transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.
End of tour.
