Day 1 Kota Kinabalu city tours.

Upon your arrival at the airport and then you be brought for Kota Kinabalu City Tour. Meanwhile, we will visit the Sabah state museum, Sabah state Mosque a beautiful piece of architecture, Chinese Buddhist temple, Signal Hill the highest point in the city with full view of Kota Kinabalu, and a unique place to visits Tun Mustapha Tower. In general, this 30 story building has 72 polygon sides and 2,160 reflective glass panels and able to stand 272 km wind speed. After all, we will be going to the handicraft shop and you will be transfer to your preferred hotel.

Day 2 Kinabalu National Park Tour.

Pickup from your hotel by 0800 hours, and we will go to Kundasang. Resent time, it’s famous for local handicraft and mountain view. The journey to Kundasang will take approximately 1 hour 45 minutes till you reach to your first stopover at Pekan Nabalu. It was once used by Sir Hugh Low as his base camp for his expedition conquering mount Kinabalu.

After spending 30 minutes there, we proceed to Kinabalu National Park, visit the Botanical Garden to see orchids, rhododendrons, ferns, pitcher-plants, kerosene trees and others. At 1100 hours, you will be guided by a park ranger and they will make an introduction of flora & fauna which part of these species are only found at Borneo. Take a jungle walk near the Park HQ (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes) and learn more about the Mountain Forest.

After finishing your trek, we proceed for your lunch at a local restaurant. Trek through a hill dipterocarp forest rich with wild fruit trees and animal life, passing giant bamboos and ginger plants with edible flowers to reach a jungle-canopy walkway 40 meter above ground (non-advisable to those who are phobia of heights) then proceed to open air outdoor sulfur bud tubs filled with hot or cold running mineral waters. Poring which means bamboo in local dialect, are located 42 kilometer from the park headquarters.

An option of visiting the Butterfly farm and short jungle trail are available for those who want to venture more. By 1630 hours, we will bring you back to Kundasang located at the foothill of mount Kinabalu for your overnight stay at Cottage Hotel.

Day 3 Kinabatangan River Cruise

We travel overland approximately 5 hours to Bilit, at the heart of Kinabatangan, the gateway to Eco-Tourism. It is a home for 10 species of primates. For example, we can see the Primates such as Proboscis monkey, the Langur, and especially the Orang Utan. In addition, there also have 8 species of Hornbills such as Rhinoceros Hornbill, Pied Hornbill, Black Hornbill and Helmeted Hornbill that 50kg weight, 120cm height. Moreover, the Kingfishers, Bubuls, Trogons, Flycatchers, Sunbirds, Broadbills, Herons, Mangrove Snakes, Vipers, Estuarine Crocodile, includings Asian Elephants and many many more wildlife also live there, for instance.

Upon arrival, we will have a warm welcome by the staff followed by an afternoon tea with some local bites. After that, a short briefing will be given by your guide. Then, take an afternoon cruise (4.00pm) along the Kinabatangan River (Sabah’s longest river at 560km) where you can observe wildlife on the boat itself.

Lastly, dinner and overnight at Kinabatangan River.

Day 4 Sepilok Rehabilitation Center & Airport

In the morning, you will take your breakfast. After that, by 0730 hours, we travel approximately 1 hour 45 minutes to Sepilok, the Orang Utan rehabilitation center. The feeding time start at 1000 hours and normally lasted for an hour. Here, witness the feeding of the Orang Utan. Moreover, watch the scheduled video program about the Orang Utan and Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center (25 mins) at the Nature Education Centre and pay a visit to the Exhibition Hall at the center.

Lastly, transfer you to the Sandakan airport for your flight at 1420 hours back to Kota Kinabalu. Then, your tour end.
