DAY 1 – Sandakan, Sepilok & Labuk Bay

Pick up from your hotel / Airport at Sandakan, and proceed to. Please take your early flight from Kuala Lumpur to Sandakan directly on the first day. Transfer to the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary that offers a perfect proboscis monkeys observation spot for any tourist who wants to have a closer look at this very unique primate. The sanctuary is located at the centre of a mangrove forest along the coastal land near Samawang Village at Labuk Bay, Sandakan.

If you love taking close up pictures of the Proboscis Monkey, this is the best place. Currently there are 3 family groups and 1 bachelor group in the sanctuary. If you are lucky, you will also have a chance to see Silver Leaf Monkeys, Pig tailed Macaques, Oriental Pied Hornbills, Otters, White-bellied Woodpeckers and Kingfishers too.

After lunch proceed to to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Witness the afternoon feeding of Orang Utans at 1500hrs in the forest. After the feeding session at Sepilok Sanctuary you will proceed to Sandakan City, thereafter proceed for a city tour. The tour will bring you to visit the Puh Jih Shih Temple, World War 2 Memorial Park, St, Micheal church, the central market and Agnes Keith’s House.

You be transfer to Sandakan hotel for overnight.

DAY 2 – Sandakan, Maroli River (Fish Spa) & Poring

After breakfast proceed to Ranau by land. The journey takes about 3 1/2 hours. Lunch will be at local restaurant on the way to ranau. Then, head on to Kampung Luanti, Ranau for a fish massaging session. Next, continued your journey to Poring which means bamboo in local dialect. Trek through a hill dipterocarp forest rich in wild fruit trees and animal life, passing giant bamboos and ginger plants. The ginger plants with edible flowers to reach a jungle-canopy walkway 40m above ground (non-advisable to those who are phobia of heights).

Then, relax in open air outdoor tubs filled with hot or cold running mineral waters. An option of visiting the Butterfly farm and short jungle trail, you are available for those who want to venture more. You will be transfer to Perkasa hotel for overnight.

DAY 3 – Kundasang & Kota Kinabalu

You will be transfer to Kundasang vegetable market after breakfast, which you can find fresh vegetable and local fruit sell along the way. Then, the journey bring you to Kinabalu National Park which you will be guided by a park ranger. They will make an introduction of flora & fauna which part of these species are only found at Borneo. Take a jungle walk near the Park HQ (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes) and learn more about the Montane Forest. After finishing, we proceed for your lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch the journey will continued to Nabalu town. It was once used by Sir Hugh Low as his base camp for his expedition conquering mount Kinabalu. Present time, it’s famous for local handicraft and Mountain View.

As you continued your journey to Kota Kinabalu city, at Tamparuli area you can try to walk at Tamparuli Suspention Bridge. After check in to your hotel for a refreshing bath, you will be pick up again around 1900hrs for dinner with cultural show.

After dinner you will be send back to hotel for overnight.
