Kota Kinabalu Escapade First Day
5 Days 4 Nights
Day 1~TRANSFER AND TOUR TO KINABALU MOUNTAIN
To start with, after arriving at the airport, meet your guide and transfer to Mount Kinabalu Heritage Resort & Spa (formerly Perkasa Hotel Mt. Kinabalu).
Moreover, perched 5,000 feet above sea level, the resort offers stunning views of Mount Kinabalu and Kinabalu National Park, Malaysia’s first UNESCO site. After a 1-hour 35-minute drive, stop at Pekan Nabalu.
On top of that, it was once used by Sir Hugh Low as his base camp for his expedition conquering Mount Kinabalu. Today, it’s known for handicrafts and mountain views. After check-in, enjoy free time until dinner.

Kota Kinabalu Escapade Second Day
Day 2~TOURS IN KINABALU MOUNTAIN
In the early hours, at 0900, we head to Park Headquarters, stopping first at Timpohon Gate, where climbers begin their Mount Kinabalu ascent. Next, explore the Botanical Garden, home to orchids, rhododendrons, ferns, pitcher plants, and kerosene trees. By 1100, a park ranger will introduce Borneo’s unique flora and fauna. Then, enjoy a 90-minute jungle walk near Park HQ to explore the Montane Forest.
Continuing onward, after the trek, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Furthermore, Poring, meaning ‘bamboo’ in the local dialect, lies 42km from Park HQ. Afterward, hike through a dipterocarp forest with wild fruit trees, giant bamboos, and edible ginger plants.
Later on, walk the 40m-high jungle canopy (not recommended for those afraid of heights). Relax in open-air tubs with hot or cold mineral water. For those seeking more adventure, visit the Butterfly Farm or take a short jungle trail. At 1630, return to the resort and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Kota Kinabalu Escapade Third Day
Day 3~KIULU WHITE WATER RAFTING ADVENTURE TOURS
After breakfast, we will meet you at 0815 and begin our journey to Kiulu for your White Water Rafting. The drive will take about 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach the base camp. Kiulu River is located in the northwestern part of Sabah. It is a Class I – II river, so it is safe for children and gentle enough for the elderly.
Before you start rafting, a qualified instructor will give you a safety briefing and teach you basic rafting skills. Once the briefing is complete, the rafting trip will cover 15 kilometers, which is the longest white water rafting trip in Borneo.
Soon after, you will spend about 1 ½ to 2 hours rafting. When you reach the end, lunch will be served right by the riverbank. Then, we will drive for 40 minutes to take you to your overnight stay at 1 Borneo Mall, the Grand Borneo Hotel, 1Borneo.
Notably, 1Borneo is the largest mall in Borneo, with a huge 4.8 million square feet of space. Finally, you will have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy at your own pace.

Kota Kinabalu Escapade Fourt day
We will meet you and pick you up by 0830. Then, we will transfer you to the wharf to begin your exciting island trip. First, we will visit Sapi Island, which is the fourth-largest island and a fantastic spot for snorkeling. After that, you will have a delicious lunch. Once lunch is finished, we will continue the journey and head to Manukan Island.
Manukan Island is the most popular island for tourists because it offers great places to stay and exciting water activities. However, if you’re not interested in water sports (snorkeling and water activities are optional), you can simply relax by the beach or enjoy snorkeling in the clear, peaceful waters.
Next, after exploring the islands, your boat will take you back to the mainland by 1600. Finally, we will transfer you back to your hotel, where you can rest after your adventure-filled day.
