Culture Nature Adventure  – 6 Days 5 Night 2025

Day 1 Culture Nature Adventure~ Arrival Kota Kinabalu

First, when you arrive at Kota Kinabalu Airport, you will meet our friendly staff. Then, you will go to the hotel you have chosen.

After that, you can rest or go out and look around. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy.

Next, you may want to take a short walk or try some local food. You can also visit places nearby. Step by step, you can see the Culture, feel the Nature, and start a small Adventure.

Later, if you like, you can join a fun activity or just relax at your hotel. Either way, you will find Culture, Nature, and Adventure all around you.

In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset or plan what to do next. No matter what you choose, your journey of Culture, Nature, and Adventure begins here.

Day 2 Culture Nature Adventure~ Kota Kinabalu / Labuan / Limbang

To begin, you will meet your guide at the hotel lobby at 7:15 AM. After that, you will go to the wharf. Then, you will take a boat to Labuan. The boat ride takes about 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Once you arrive in Labuan, our friendly staff will help you get a ticket for the next boat to Limbang. This boat leaves at 2:00 PM and the ride takes around 2 hours.

Before the next boat, you may have time to enjoy lunch or walk around Labuan town. The town is known for tax-free shops and branded items. While you explore, you can enjoy local Culture, take in the Nature, or start a small Adventure of your own.

Later, when you arrive in Limbang, your nature guide will be waiting. Then, you will go with the guide to Purnama Hotel for your overnight stay.

After checking in, you can rest or relax. You are free until 6:30 PM. At that time, your guide will meet you again at the hotel lobby. Then, you will go together to have dinner at a local restaurant. This is another chance to enjoy the local Culture through tasty food and warm people.

Finally, after dinner, your guide will tell you about the next day’s plan. Get ready for more Culture, more Nature, and more Adventure on your journey.

Day 3 ~ Limbang / Kuala Mendalam (Iban Longhouse)

To start, please meet your guide at the hotel lobby by 12:30 PM. After that, you will take a short 45-minute drive to Mendamit Village. Along the way, you can enjoy the view and see a bit of local Nature.

Next, when you arrive at the village, you will take a ride on a local longboat to Kuala Mendalam, where the Iban longhouse is. The boat ride will take about 1 hour. During the ride, you will pass small villages and homes along the river. This is a relaxing way to enjoy the Nature, learn about the local Culture, and begin a unique Adventure.

Then, when you reach the longhouse, you will meet your Iban host family. You will stay with them for the night. This is a great chance to learn about their life, traditions, and beliefs. Step by step, you will discover a new way of living — full of Culture, close to Nature, and rich in Adventure.

Later, you will sleep in the longhouse on a basic mattress with a pillow, blanket, and mosquito net. It is simple, but it gives you a real feel of how the Iban people live.

After that, meals will be prepared by the family. The food may be different from what you usually eat, but it is part of their Culture. Be open, try something new, and enjoy the Adventure.

In the end, this day will give you a deeper look into Culture, a close touch with Nature, and a meaningful Adventure you will always remember.

Day 4 ~ Kuala Mendalam / HeadHunters Trail / Camp 5

First, after breakfast, you will meet your guide at 7:30 AM. Then, you will take a longboat to Kuala Terikan. Along the way, you will pass by a few Iban longhouses and see a lot of beautiful, untouched Nature. This boat ride is a peaceful part of your Adventure and gives you a closer look at local Culture.

Next, the boat journey will take about 4 to 5 hours, depending on the water level. After that, you will stop at a nice place to rest and have lunch.

Then, you will begin your jungle walk to Camp 5. The trek takes about 4 hours. You will walk through wet swamps, thick plants, and maybe even see leeches. This is the most exciting part of the day and a true Adventure.

After a long day, you will arrive at Camp 5. Now, you can clean up and relax. While you rest, your guide will prepare dinner for you.

Later, if you want, you can join a night walk with your guide. This walk is important for safety and also a fun way to see night animals. It is a special time to enjoy Nature and learn about the forest Culture at night.

Finally, you will sleep in a simple bed at Camp 5. It is not fancy, but it gives you a real jungle experience — full of Culture, close to Nature, and full of Adventure.

Day 5 ~ Camp 5 / Deer & Lang Cave / Benarat Inn

First, after breakfast, you will leave Camp 5 at 8:00 AM. Then, you will begin a 3-hour walk through the forest to Long Lutut. As you walk, take time to enjoy the fresh air, green trees, and wild animals around you. This part is full of Nature and a true walking Adventure.

After the walk, you will arrive at Long Lutut. Here, a longboat will be waiting for you. Next, you will take a relaxing boat ride to Mulu. Along the way, you will pass quiet villages and thick jungle. This is another chance to see local Culture, explore more Nature, and enjoy the slow Adventure of river travel.

Soon, you will reach Benarat Inn — a simple place where you will have lunch and stay overnight. After lunch, you can rest and relax in this peaceful Nature setting before the next exciting activity.

Then, at 2:30 PM, you will go with your guide to the Mulu National Park Headquarters. From there, you will visit Deer Cave and Lang Cave. These are two of the biggest and most famous caves in the world. This part of the trip is full of amazing Nature and exciting Adventure.

Inside Deer Cave, you will see huge cave walls and big open spaces. It is home to over 32 million bats! This shows just how rich the Nature is in this area.

Later, as the sun goes down, you will watch a special moment. The bats fly out from the cave in long black lines into the sky, looking for food in the forest. This is a beautiful mix of Nature, local Culture, and once-in-a-lifetime Adventure.

Finally, in the evening, you will return to your lodge to rest. Today has been a full day of Culture, Nature, and Adventure — a day you will never forget.

Day 6 ~ Benarat Inn / ClearWater & Wind Cave / Miri

       After breakfast we depart by longboat at 0830hrs to the source of the Clearwater River. We first stop at Batu Bungan Penan Settlement for a short excursion of the settlement. You are able to see the handmade handicraft like baskets, bangles, mats by the Penan tribe. From there we go by boat to visit WINDS OF THE CAVE with unusual calcite formations, including the tall, slender stalagmites in King’s Room. Just a few hundred meters upriver lay CLEARWATER CAVE where you have to climb 200 steps to the cave’s main entrance; visit the Lady’s Cave and the underground river. The pool at Clearwater Spring is a nice place to swim and picnic. After lunch we go by boat to Mulu airport to take our flight on MH3254 ETD 1540hrs to Miri. You be meet at the airport and transfer to your choice of hotel.
