House of Skulls:

Afterward, visit the legendary House of Skulls. Here, you will hear amazing stories about Monsopiad, the warrior. Besides, you will also learn about the old way of life of the Kadazan people.

Monolith of Gintutun:

Then, you will see the giant Monolith known as Gintutun. Moreover, the stories behind it will surely amaze you.

Traditional Fire Making:

Next, you will see a demonstration of how people used to make fire in the old days.

Tangkob and Rice Wine:

Then, you will then visit the Tangkob, where you will learn how people stored rice long ago. After that, you will discover how locals make rice wine and have a chance to taste Lihing, the famous rice wine.

Traditional Activities:

Afterward, you can enjoy fun traditional activities:

• Shoot with a blow-pipe (monopuk)

• Play with a catapult (lastik)

• Walk on stilts (tampanau)

• Grate sago (mamagalus)

01.“THE BUFFET LUNCH PACKAGE”

Additionally, enjoy your afternoon at Monsopiad Heritage Village with lunch and a fun cultural show.

First, a guide will take you on a short tour of the village to show you the culture and nature of Sabah. After the tour, you’ll go to the main hall for lunch. Then, the meal will have local food, and you’ll also watch the cultural show. After each dance, you can join in and try using a blowpipe.

Schedule:

• 11:15 AM – Guests arrive.

• 11:30 AM – Later, go to the main hall for lunch. Also, the meal includes local food and water. Moreover, you can buy soft drinks, alcohol, or rice wine at your own cost.

• 12:00 PM – Next, the cultural show starts. After each dance, you can join in and try using the blowpipe.

• 12:30 PM – Finally, the show ends. Then, take pictures with the dancers and musicians.

• 12:45 PM – Besides, tuests will be split into groups and guided through the village.

• 1:30 PM – The event ends.

02.HI-TEA PACKAGE

In addition, guests can enjoy an afternoon at Monsopiad Heritage Village with hi-tea and a heritage show, offering a fun and interactive experience that blends different cultures. First, the guests will go on a guided tour of Monsopiad Heritage Village, where they will learn about the rich culture and nature of Sabah. After the tour, guests will head to the main hall for hi-tea. During this time, they will taste local delicacies. While enjoying their food, the Cultural Show will start. After each performance, guests can participate in traditional dances from the Kadazan, Murut, and other indigenous tribes of Sabah.

“THE HI-TEA PACKAGE” SCHEDULE:

• 2:30 PM: Guests arrive and go to the Riverside Café. There, they will get a welcome drink before the guided tour. Guests may be split into smaller groups, and a guide will show them around the village.

• 3:30 PM: After the tour, guests will go to the main hall for the hi-tea buffet. The buffet will include local specialties. Guests can also enjoy cordial, coffee, and tea. Any mineral water, soft drinks, liquor, beer, or local rice wine will be at the guests’ own expense.

• 4:00 PM: The Cultural Show will start. After each performance, guests can join in the traditional dances and even try shooting with a blowpipe, a traditional hunting tool.

• 4:30 PM: The Cultural Show will end. Guests can take pictures with the dancers and musicians.

The Dinner Package gives guests a fun and interactive experience. First, guests will enjoy a guided tour of Monsopiad Heritage Village where they will discover the rich cultural and natural heritage of Sabah. After the tour, guests will head to the main hall for a buffet dinner with local specialties.

During dinner, guests will enjoy a Cultural Show. After each performance, guests will have the chance to join in the traditional dances of the Kadazan, Murut, and other indigenous tribes of Sabah. Guests can also try shooting with a blowpipe, a traditional hunting tool. This evening will create lasting memories! Monsopiad Heritage Village can also arrange a fire show upon request.

“THE DINNER & CULTURAL SHOW” SCHEDULE:

• 6:00 PM: Guests arrive at Monsopiad Heritage Village. They will be greeted with a welcome drink and receive a brief introduction to the village.

• 6:15 PM: Guests will split into smaller groups for a guided tour of the village to learn about its history and culture.

• 7:00 PM: After the tour, guests will go to the main hall for dinner. The buffet will offer a variety of local specialties, along with cordial, coffee, and tea. Guests will need to pay for all mineral water, soft drinks, and rice wine.

• 7:30 PM: The Cultural Dance Performance will begin. Guests can join the dances after each performance and try the blowpipe.

• 8:00 PM: The Fire Show begins (upon request).

• 8:30 PM: The event ends.

• 101 pax – 200 pax: RM55.00 per adult, RM25.00 per child (ages 4-12), free for children under 3 years.

For more than 200 pax, please call for special arrangements. We can customize the menu and offer this package any day of the week. Duration: 6 hours.
