Day 01 : Kota Kinabalu To Klias Wetland

Firstly, we will meet at your hotel lobby and thereafter you transfer to Klias. Its an estimate 2 hours overland journey, for an experience of watching the Proboscis monkey along the mangrove river. In nature, Borneo is the only known place where these creatures inhabit.

Next, arriving at the Jetty, you be served with some refreshment before your boat cruise which starts at 1700 hours. A return boat trip of 1½ hours searching for these rare species might be giving you the opportunity of seeing other wildlife such as the Silver Langgur Monkey leaf,   Australian Crocodile, Monitor Lizard, etc.

In addition, on your way back to the jetty, we will search for fireflies (if weather permits) displaying their spectacular synchronized lightings occupying a whole grown tree. A portion of typical Malaysian food will be served during dinner and thereafter we depart back for your hotel at Kota Kinabalu.

Day 02 : Kundasang And Kinabalu National Park, Dairy Farm & Fish Spa

Next, you will be picked up from your hotel, and we will drive through the beautiful Crocker Range. The journey to Kundasang, at the foot of Mount Kinabalu, will take about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Along the way, we will stop at Pekan Nabalu, known for its beautiful mountain views and local handicrafts.

After that, we will continue our Sabah Borneo Nature & City Tour and head to Kinabalu National Park. If you want to climb Mount Kinabalu, you must register at the park. You can also visit the Botanical Garden to see plants like orchids, rhododendrons, ferns, pitcher plants, and more.

At 1100 hours, a park ranger will guide you and introduce you to the special plants and animals that can only be found in Borneo. Then, we will go on a jungle walk near the Park HQ for about 1 hour and 30 minutes to learn more about the forest.

After the walk, we will go to a local restaurant for lunch. Then, we will drive 42 kilometers to Poring, which means “bamboo” in the local language.

Additionally, you will walk through a dipterocarp forest, full of wild fruit trees and animals. You’ll pass by giant bamboo and ginger plants with edible flowers before reaching a jungle-canopy walkway 40 meters above the ground. Afterward, you can relax in outdoor tubs filled with hot or cold mineral waters.

For more adventure, you can visit the Butterfly Farm or take a short jungle trail. If you prefer, you can also visit a fish spa or a Dairy Farm. Once the day is over, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 03 : Kota Kinabalu City Tour.

Next, your driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a half-day Sabah Borneo Nature & City Tour. The tour will start by showing you some of the most scenic parts of the city. After that, your guide will take you to visit interesting places, such as the 30-story Wisma Tun Mustapha (also called the Sabah Foundation Building), the Sabah Museum, and the Sabah State.

You will also visit the City Mosque, one of the most beautiful buildings in Sabah. Then, you will stop at Signal Hill, a hilltop observatory with great views of the city. The tour will finish with a visit to a local handicraft shop, where you can buy some souvenirs to take home. Afterward, you will be taken back to your hotel or a shopping mall in the city.
