General Information

In general, Semporna is known for the Regatta Lepa. It is the traditional boat races which occur annually in April. Besides, in 2000, Semporna was the finish line location of Eco-Challenge: Borneo. Moreover, Semporna is one of the marine park called Tun Sakaran Marine Park that gazette by Sabah Parks in 2004.

Furthermore, Semporna is the gateway to world divers. A lot of paradise islands such as Sipadan, Mabul, Kapalai, Mataking, Sibuan, Mantabuan, Siamil and Pom Pom Island. Next, most of the visitors come to enjoy the hot weather, seeking tranquility and water sports activities. The visitors can play for water sport activities such as diving or snorkeling.
