Turtle Islands Park is in the Sulu Sea, just 3 km from Sandakan in Sabah, Malaysia. Because of its clear water and rich sea life, it is a perfect place for the Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N.

First, the park has three islands—Selingaan, Bakkungan Kechil, and Gulisan. It also has colorful coral reefs and blue ocean. With this beautiful nature, visitors on the Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N can relax, explore, and enjoy the sea.

Next, the park is famous for turtles. Many green turtles and hawksbill turtles come to the beach every night to lay their eggs. This is a special moment for visitors on the Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N.

Also, the park is big, covering 17.4 km². It gives a safe space for turtles and a great place for learning and adventure. This makes the Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N both fun and educational.

At the same time, the Turtle Islands are part of a bigger area. There are 10 islands in total—3 in Malaysia and 7 in the Municipality of Turtle Islands, Tawi-Tawi, Philippines. Because of this, the Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N also teaches visitors about turtle protection in both countries.

Day 1~ Transfer to the jetty Crystal quest. Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N

First, at 5:45 AM, we pick you up for your 7:00 AM flight to Sandakan, starting your Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N.

When you arrive, our friendly guide will welcome you and take you to the jetty at 9:00 AM. Then, enjoy a 1-hour boat ride to Selingan island, home to the Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N.

Once we reach the park office, we will help you register. After that, enjoy a tasty lunch. Then, you can relax on the beach or swim in the clear water. Feel the fresh ocean air and enjoy your Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N.

Later, before dinner, watch a simple slideshow about green turtles and learn about Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N and its efforts to protect turtles. While waiting for the ranger’s call, you can walk around the island or rest and enjoy the quiet.

Turtles usually come to lay eggs between 10:00 PM and 2:00 AM, but sometimes earlier. This is the most exciting part of your Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N. You will see turtles lay eggs, watch rangers move the eggs, and enjoy the special moment of baby turtles going to the sea.

Finally, after a wonderful day, you can sleep and listen to the waves, ending the first day of your Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N.

Day 2~ Return and check out from Selingan Island.

After breakfast, the boat will leave Selingan Island at 7:00 AM, marking the end of your Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N.

Then, enjoy a calm 1-hour boat ride back to the mainland. Upon arrival, our friendly guide will meet you and help with your next transfer.

Next, we will take you to Sandakan Airport and help with your check-in. You can then relax at the airport while waiting for your flight.

Finally, as you leave Sandakan, remember the special moments from your Borneo Turtle Expedition 2D1N, knowing you have seen and helped with turtle conservation.

LIGHT ITINERARY 2 Day 1 Night Selingan Turtle Island And Sepilok Orang Utan Centre

DAY 1	5:45AM Pick-up from your flight on 7AM at airport Sandakan
	Send you to jetty 9:00am. Enjoy 1 hours ride to Selingan island
	10AM, the boat departs to the Selingan Turtles Island
	Arrival at Selingan Turtle Island and lunch will be serve.
	After lunch, you can relax, swim, or snorkel in the warm, clear waters surrounding the island
	Before dinner watch a simple slideshow about turtle dan the effort to protect turtle.
	Park Ranger will announce a turtle sighting, watch the turtle lay its eggs. Around 10PM to 2PM
	Ranger will then collect and transfer the eggs to the hatchery for protection.
	Finally, you will see baby turtles make their way to the sea as the Rangers release them into the wild.
DAY 2	7AM boat depart from Selingan Turtle Island to mind land Sandakan city
	10AM Arrival at Sabah Park Jetty Sandakan
	Transfer back to Airport Sandakan or your hotel (Sandakan area)
