Day 1 West to East Borneo Journey ~Kota Kinabalu & Proboscis monkey & Firefly River Cruise at Weston.

Firstly, your exciting West to East Borneo Journey starts when you arrive at the airport. First, you will be picked up by our friendly team. Then, you will go straight to the handicraft market in Kota Kinabalu. Also, you can walk around and see many handmade items, like bags, clothes, and decorations. Besides, you can also buy small gifts and souvenirs to remember your trip.

After your visit, you will go to your hotel. Check-in is at 2:00 PM. Later, you can take a short rest, freshen up, and get ready for the next part of your West to East Borneo Journey.

Next, you will leave for Weston. For your reference, this is about a 1.5-hour drive. When you arrive, you will enjoy some light refreshments, like snacks and drinks.

After that, you will go on the Proboscis Monkey River Cruise. Additionally, on this cruise, you will ride a boat along the peaceful river. Furthermore, you might see Proboscis monkeys, a rare animal only found in Borneo. Besides, you will also enjoy the beautiful sunset during the cruise. Moreover, this moment is one of the highlights of your West to East Borneo Journey.

Then, you will have a tasty local dinner served at a nice wooden platform by the riverbank. Also, you can enjoy your meal while listening to the sounds of nature.

Later on, your West to East Borneo Journey continues with a magical Fireflies Tour. Next, you will go back on the boat to see fireflies glowing in the trees. In addition, it will look like tiny lights or stars shining in the dark. Also, this is a quiet and beautiful way to end your day.

Finally, you will return to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu. Later, you are now free to relax and enjoy your evening. Then, you can rest well after this fun and full day.

Day 02 West to East Borneo Journey~Trip To Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot

Early in the morning, start your day with a nice breakfast at your hotel in Kota Kinabalu. This is a good time to enjoy your meal and get ready for a new day on your West to East Borneo Journey.

After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel. Then, you will travel by car to the cool highlands of Kundasang. This part of your West to East Borneo Journey takes you through beautiful hills and green countryside.

When you arrive in Kundasang, your first stop is at the famous Kinabalu National Park. This park is full of fresh air, tall trees, and pretty flowers. You can take a short walk, enjoy nature, and see the amazing view of Mount Kinabalu. This is one of the highlights of your West to East Borneo Journey.

Next, continue to the relaxing Poring Hot Spring. Here, you can enjoy the warm water, walk around the gardens, or just sit and rest.

After visiting these places, it’s time to move on. You will continue your trip by road to the quiet town of Sepilok. Along the way, enjoy looking at the trees, rivers, and small villages.

Once you reach Sepilok, you will go to your hotel, the Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort. This is a peaceful place, surrounded by nature.

Then, you will check in to your room. You can take a rest and enjoy the calm jungle sounds.

In the evening, you are free to do what you like. You can have dinner, relax at the resort, or take a quiet walk.

Day 03 ~Selingan Island

Leave from hotel and transfer to jetty for 1hour boat ride to Selingan Island. The boat departs at 0930hrs and takes about an hour to reach Selingan Island. Lunch and free at your own leisure. After dinner prepares to wait for the Park Ranger to inform of the sighting of a turtle laying eggs. Witness the collection of eggs from the nesting site. Overnight at Selingan Island Resort

Day 04 ~Sepilok Orangutan , Gomantong Cave, Kinabatangan

Breakfast at Resort, check out and depart return to Sandakan at 0700hrs. Proceed to world-famous Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Upon arrival, a short brief by your guide. Then watch a video show documentary before witness the feeding of Orang Utan at 1000hrs on the feeding platform. Lunch will be served at Sandakan English Tea House. Head to reach Kg. Bilit jetty for about 5minute boat ride to reach Kinabatangan Lodge. Proceed for River Cruise at 4 PM, dinner at Lodge cafe and thereafter proceed for 1hour guided night walk. Overnight at Kinabatangan Lodge.

Day 05 ~Early Morning Cruise

Wake up by the calls of wildlife & rainforest. Proceed for 6 AM river cruise for another observation for wildlife. Return to your lodge and breakfast. Then, visit Gomantong Cave and back to Sandakan for overnight.

Day 06 ~Transfer Out

Breakfast, check-out and transfer to Sandakan Airport
